Introduction

Trilogy 1 Consulting, co-owned by Christian George, built a self-paced app called the AI Opportunity Audit on the Emergent platform to help small businesses quickly uncover where they are losing time and money and where AI can create immediate impact. Designed for companies under $5 million in revenue and with fewer than 50 employees, the app guides business owners through a short assessment and produces a clear, actionable report in under 30 minutes. This initiative is a core part of Trilogy 1 Consulting’s evolution from a traditional marketing consultancy into an AI-focused firm offering scalable, high-value digital tools.

Use Case Overview

Trilogy 1 Consulting designed and built the AI Opportunity Audit using Emergent’s vibe coding platform. The app helps business owners understand what is happening within their operations, identify waste, and highlight areas where custom or ready-made AI solutions can be implemented quickly. The tool supports the company’s transformation into an AI-centered consultancy, complementing its audit, implementation, and optimization service model.

Challenges

Before the emergence of platforms like Emergent with its vibe coding agents, a visionary founder like Christian, who described himself as having “non-stop ideas,” would have needed large teams, significant budgets, and long timelines to build software products. Even with those resources, the end result often fell short, and development teams could be unreliable.

Christian explained that building an app traditionally would cost around $75,000, often producing a “subpar app experience.” He also highlighted the challenge of speed, noting that if a project takes too long, “someone else or 10 other people have already done it.” His goal was to convert a complex consulting process, typically requiring manual interviews and analysis, into a digital product that small businesses could access affordably.

Solutions

Christian discovered Emergent in July and committed a few hours a day to create the app he envisioned. He described the experience as “liberating” and said it felt like a “privilege to share my ideas quickly with the world.”

While the first version of the app was created in “an hour or two,” he invested additional time refining prompts, adjusting workflows, restructuring the logic, and improving the user experience to ensure the app delivered meaningful value. The full build took about one to two weeks of focused work.

The AI Opportunity Audit uses GPT-4o as the Large Language Model (LLM) and Twilio SendGrid for email delivery. The entire project cost roughly $500 to $700 in credits, which is dramatically lower than hiring a development team.

Outcome

Christian described his experience using Emergent as “almost life-changing,” as it allowed him to quickly create and launch tools that previously required large budgets and long development cycles.

The AI Opportunity Audit provides several benefits:

1. A Detailed Report

Users receive an executive summary, an estimate of annual manual labor costs that could be recovered, and the top three recommended “quick wins.”

2. Visual Guidance

The app presents an opportunity matrix, similar to the Gartner Magic Quadrant, to help users clearly see which tasks are high-impact and low-difficulty.

3. Actionable Next Steps

Users receive a 90-day action plan, tool recommendations (such as Gusto or QuickBooks), and the option to schedule a more in-depth virtual audit.

The app is now live, and Trilogy 1 Consulting is preparing to promote it, starting in the United States with plans for a global rollout. The project has already created new business opportunities. After reviewing the app, a colleague expressed interest in having similar tools built for his own business.

Conclusion

The success of the AI Opportunity Audit demonstrates how Emergent empowers founders and consultants to turn complex service offerings into accessible and scalable digital products without traditional development barriers. For Christian, building the app independently was both empowering and transformative, enabling him to innovate faster and reach a broader audience. With the app live and global expansion underway, Trilogy 1 Consulting is well-positioned to deliver meaningful value to businesses everywhere and continue its shift toward becoming an AI-first consulting firm.
