How to enter the App Builder track

Entry takes four steps:

  1. Register on the official competition site and choose the App Builder track.
  2. Select the Fast Track option, which includes Emergent plus a private kickoff call, webinar recordings, and other bonuses.
  3. Create your Emergent account through the unique link the Fast Track page provides, using the same email for both.
  4. Upload your signup proof to unlock your pass and start building.

General Entry is also free, but it leaves you to piece your own tools together.

Why the App Builder track suits first-timers

The App Builder track is the route for founders who want to launch an actual app rather than a slide deck, and most builders here start from zero. On Emergent, you describe what you want in plain English, and the build handles the frontend, the backend, and the business setup. You wire in Stripe, deploy to a live URL, and can ship the same product to web, iOS, and Android from one chat. Because the prizes are revenue-gated, that live, payment-taking product is what counts. Emergent's backing of the track is covered in full in this announcement.
