GitHub Integration connects your Emergent project to a GitHub repository, so you can save, version, and back up your work without leaving Emergent. It's how your build gets proper version control and a place to collaborate.

How GitHub Integration works
The first time, you connect your GitHub account from your profile and authorize Emergent to access your repositories. From then on, you can push your project to GitHub with "Save to GitHub," choosing a new or existing repository and a branch, and Emergent commits your changes automatically. You can also pull an existing repository into your Emergent workspace to keep developing it, which is how team members pick up each other's work.
Example
You finish the first version of a task-management app and click Save to GitHub, creating a new repository on your main branch. Later, a teammate pulls that repository into their own Emergent workspace, adds a feature, and saves it back, so the project stays versioned and shared.
