We've partnered with entrepreneur and content creator Raj Shamani to launch a nationwide build challenge for Indian business owners, with a total prize pool of ₹1 Crore.

The total prize pool is ₹1 Crore, split across the top three winners: ₹50 lakh for first place, ₹30 lakh for second, and ₹20 lakh for third.

This is not a coding challenge. It's a business transformation challenge.

The contest is live now and closes in under 10 days. If you're thinking about entering, don't sit on it.

How It Works

Every business is unique, but the software most businesses use is generic. With Emergent, a business owner can describe a real problem and build custom software for it. No coding needed. No waiting months. Just a clear understanding of the workflow that needs to be fixed.

Here's what participation looks like:

1. Identify a real problem in your business. Something that's costing you time, creating friction, or holding back operations.

2. Build software for it on Emergent. Describe what you need. Emergent builds the application. No code required.

3. Use it in your business. This isn't about building a demo. Put the software into real operations.

4. Submit the build. Show what you built and what changed.

The top three businesses that demonstrate the most meaningful transformation share the ₹1 Crore prize pool.

Why This Matters

Manufacturers, traders, logistics companies, supply-chain operators, D2C brands, and family-run enterprises often rely on fragmented systems and manual processes because building custom software has traditionally been expensive, time-consuming, and dependent on technical expertise.

As Emergent co-founder and CEO Mukund Jha said: most businesses don't need more software. They need software that reflects how their business actually works. AI changes that. A manufacturer, trader, logistics operator, or founder can now build tools around their own business and start seeing results in days, not months.

As part of the campaign, Raj Shamani built real software using AI for his own business on Emergent, documenting the process and showing Indian business owners that building software is no longer limited to developers or large companies.

In Raj Shamani's words: every business owner knows there are bottlenecks that slow growth. For years, solving them meant hiring developers, agencies, or technical teams. Today, AI changes that equation. If you understand the problem clearly enough, you can start building a solution yourself.

Who Should Enter

The challenge is open to business owners, founders, and operators across India.

No coding background needed. No technical team required. If you can describe the problem, you can participate.
