Visual Edits

Visual Edits is an Emergent feature that lets you change how your app looks by clicking an element in the preview and describing the change, instead of screenshotting it and explaining the fix in chat. You point at the exact spot, type what you want changed there, and the agent gets both the precise location and the instruction.

Point at any element and say what to change. Emergent turns your clicks into real code.

How Visual Edits works

You switch into edit mode from the bottom nav of your app's preview, then click any element to rewrite its text, restyle it, swap an image, delete it, or add a visual effect. Every edit adds to a running count, so you can stack changes across a page and undo or redo them, then hit Apply to send the whole set to the agent as one batch. Because these are production edits, every change lands in the real app you own and goes live once you re-deploy. You can see the full walkthrough in the Visual Edits launch post.

Visual Edits example

Say a heading on your page has one word spilling past the edge of its card. You click it, type the fix, and it joins your list of queued edits. You stack a few more changes across the same page, then apply them together in one batch that the agent writes straight into your app's code.
