Emergent Joins the Claude Startups Program With 20% Cashback on Pro

Emergent is now a partner in Anthropic's Claude Startups program. Founders in the program get 20% cashback on Emergent Pro for their first six months, whether they pay monthly or annually.
The partnership comes as Anthropic expands Claude Startups, announced on October 6, 2026. The program now bundles Claude credits, a free year of Claude Team, and discounts on tools that early-stage companies run on. Emergent's offer gives members one more tool: a way to turn the ideas founders work through in Claude into live, full-stack apps without writing code. It also builds on Emergent's existing work with Anthropic, following last month's launch of Emergent as a connector inside Claude for Small Business.
What the Claude Startups program offers
Claude Startups is Anthropic's program for founders building companies on Claude. Startups founded in the last five years or funded in the last two can apply, and the expanded program covers model access, partner tools, and direct support from Anthropic.
Anthropic values the Team plan and API credit at up to $7,000. The Startup Stack figure is a combined maximum across all partner offers, so the value any one company receives depends on which offers it redeems.
What Claude Startups members get on Emergent
Members get 20% cashback on Emergent Pro for the first six months of their subscription. The offer applies to both monthly and annual billing, so founders can pick the commitment that suits their runway.
Pro is Emergent's plan for builders creating full SaaS products, custom AI agents, and mobile apps. It costs $200 per month, or $167 per month billed annually, and includes:
- Everything in Standard, including mobile app development with Expo and React Native
- 750 monthly credits
- A 1M-token context window for longer, more complex builds
- Maxx Mode for multi-step reasoning
- Custom agent creation and system prompt editing
- 2× machine performance and priority support
Pricing as of October 2026.
Why this matters for builders
Anthropic's own case for the program is that building is no longer the hard part. Its announcement points out that people without a coding background can now ship working software, which shifts the challenge to standing out, covering early costs, and finding tools that are quick to set up.
Emergent sits squarely in that gap. A founder can use the Claude Team plan to plan, research, and write a product spec, then describe that product to Emergent. Emergent's agents build the frontend, backend, database, auth, payments, and deployment, and the founder owns the code and data.
The two also connect inside the product. Emergent has built its own agents with Claude, as Anthropic's customer story details. Apps built on Emergent can call Claude through the Universal Key, a single credential that covers Claude, GPT, and Gemini with billing handled in Emergent credits. Founders can add Claude-powered features to their app without creating a separate Anthropic account or managing API keys.
The cashback matters most in the first six months, when a startup is testing whether anyone wants the product. That is when credit usage spikes, with frequent rebuilds, new features, and early user feedback driving changes.
How to get started
Founders who aren't yet members should apply on the Claude Startups page. Once approved, they can claim the Claude Team plan and API credit from Anthropic and redeem the Emergent offer for their Pro subscription.
Build your startup on Claude and Emergent
Emergent's place in the Claude Startups program gives eligible founders a cheaper path from idea to a working product. Members get Claude access from Anthropic and 20% back on Emergent Pro for six months, which together cover planning, building, and the AI features inside the app.
If you're in the program, or eligible to apply, claim the offer and put it toward your first build.
