Wispr Flow and Emergent Launch India Growth Team Hiring Challenge

Wispr Flow has launched a hiring challenge to fill roles on its India growth team. Candidates apply by building a new portfolio by voice, not by sending a resume. The Wispr Flow Hiring Challenge with Emergent opened on 28 October 2026 and closes on 4 November. Applicants build their portfolios on Emergent and get Emergent credits to do it.

Wispr Flow is a voice dictation app that supports Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. The challenge asks candidates to show they can do the work using voice, the product they would be helping to grow. One of its judging criteria is "work over credentials," a contrast to the resume screens that AI recruiting tools increasingly handle.

Roles open on the India growth team

Wispr Flow is hiring for two tracks:

  • Interns: Ideally, interns have at least one year of experience, but Wispr Flow says this is not a hard requirement. Students are welcome to apply, and interns don't need a history of running a channel. Interns have a pathway to a full-time role at Wispr Flow.
  • Full-time: Experienced professionals who have owned or grown a channel at a tech startup. The role involves owning one or more of Wispr Flow's key growth channels in India, including influencer marketing and partnerships.

Wispr Flow wants full-time availability once a hire joins, and candidates who are Bangalore-based or willing to travel. It would ideally like hires to start in November but says it is happy to wait for the right person.

How to apply to the Wispr Flow hiring challenge

Applicants build a new portfolio on Emergent using Wispr Flow. Wispr Flow also lets candidates use another vibe coding tool of their choice. Old, pre-existing portfolios are not accepted. If you need a starting point, these portfolio website examples show what strong ones include.

To apply, you fill in the form on the challenge page with:

  • Your portfolio URL
  • A recording of up to 3 minutes explaining what you built, why you built it, and what value you saw in using voice
  • The email you use to sign in to Wispr Flow, which helps Wispr Flow verify that you used voice for your build
  • Your LinkedIn profile, whether you want an internship, a full-time role, or either, and when you can start

If you applied through the original LinkedIn post for these roles, Wispr Flow asks you to apply again through the challenge. No one from the original form has been disqualified.

How submissions are judged and what hires get

Wispr Flow lists five things it is looking for: creativity, use of voice, extreme ownership, work over credentials, and basic logistics. It reviews the portfolio's creativity, how clearly you communicate in the video, and your understanding of voice. Full-time applicants should also show evidence of ownership alongside their new build.

The opportunity includes what Wispr Flow calls top-of-the-market pay and a $3,000 grant for your "most oddly specific work requirement." Hires also get the chance to work on campaigns in India. Applicants are encouraged to share what they built on LinkedIn or X and tag Wispr Flow and Emergent.

New to building with AI? This guide on how to build a portfolio website with AI walks through the process. Challenge applicants receive Emergent credits at their registered email within 10 hours and can sign in to Emergent with that same email to get started.

Submissions close on 4 November, so there's still time to get a build in.
