What Sits Behind Each Automotive Page
A shopper sees one car or one offer. Behind it, six parts decide who follows up and where the lead is kept.
One prompt for the page and its lead table
Describe the car or the offer and what a shopper should do next. Emergent builds the page and the table its leads land in, then changes either one when you prompt again.
Each lead sent to one named person
Name who follows up on each kind of request, such as a sales consultant for test drives. That person gets a Slack message or an email with every answer the shopper gave.
Leads copied into your CRM
HubSpot or any other CRM with an API receives each lead along with the page it came from. The sales team keeps working in the same CRM it already opens every morning.
Price cuts and sold cars by message
Tell Emergent to drop the price by $1,500 or mark the car sold. The page changes at the same web address, and every lead collected before the change stays in the table.
A page for each vehicle or service offer
Ask for one page per car on the lot or per seasonal service special. Every page writes to the same lead table, and each row there records the page each request came from.
Your dealership's domain and the code
Your dealership's custom domain is included and uses credits. On paid plans, the pages export to your own GitHub repository together with their lead table and routing rules.

Three Saturday test drive slots on one SUV's page
Brightwater Auto's page for a used 2021 hybrid SUV puts the $24,900 price and the 41,200 miles above 3 Saturday slots. Nadia Pruitt picked 10:30 AM. Sales consultant Wes Talbot got her booking as a Slack direct message, and the SUV was washed and parked out front when she arrived.
window.awbMockup = { testDriveBooking: "Build a landing page for one used car at Brightwater Auto: a 2021 hybrid SUV with 41,200 miles, priced at $24,900. Show the price and the mileage above 3 Saturday test drive slots. When a shopper books a slot, send a Slack direct message to our sales consultant, Wes Talbot, with the shopper's name and the time.", tradeInRequests: "Build a trade-in page for Kestrel Valley Motors. Ask owners for the VIN, the mileage, and the car's condition. Put every trade-in under 60,000 miles on the used car manager Ines Varga's list for that day and mark it Same day. Email owners of cars at 60,000 miles or more asking for 4 photos, and mark those rows Photos requested.", brakeInspection: "Build a landing page for Corbin Street Garage's $49 brake inspection. Let drivers pick an open bay time instead of calling the shop, and ask for the car's year and model. Give the service writer one table of this week's bookings, sorted by the time each car is due in.", rideAndDriveRsvp: "Build an RSVP page for Halden Ridge EV's Saturday ride-and-drive event. Offer 4 time slots with 12 seats each, and ask for a name and a phone number. When a slot reaches 12 seats, mark it Full and stop taking signups for it. Show the total seats taken on the page as RSVPs come in." };
Each trade-in under 60,000 miles is seen that day
Owners asking Kestrel Valley Motors for a trade-in number enter the VIN and the mileage, then describe the condition. Every trade-in under 60,000 miles goes on used car manager Ines Varga's list that day, marked Same day. Cars at 60,000 miles or more get an email asking for 4 photos and show Photos requested.
A $49 brake inspection booked into a bay time
Drivers who click Corbin Street Garage's ad for a $49 brake inspection pick a bay time on the page instead of calling the shop. The service writer starts each morning with one table of bookings, 14 of them this week, each listing the car and the time it is due in.
When a ride-and-drive slot fills, the page closes it
On Saturday, Halden Ridge EV runs a ride-and-drive event in 4 time slots of 12 seats each. Visitors choose a slot and leave a name and a phone number. A slot that reaches 12 seats shows Full and stops taking signups. By Thursday, 41 of 48 seats were taken, and the count on the page moved with every RSVP.
How to Build an Automotive Landing Page
Seven steps to plan an automotive landing page around one car or offer, keep its price claims within the rules, and route every lead.
A page for a single SUV and a page for a brake special ask different things of the visitor. Give each one its own page, and decide the one action it asks for: a test drive time, a trade-in request, or a bay booking.
Put the ad's vehicle or offer in the headline, in the same words and at the same price. A driver who clicked a $49 brake inspection and lands on a full service menu has to hunt for the deal before booking anything.
The FTC Used Car Rule says a dealer must display a Buyers Guide on a used vehicle before offering it for sale to a consumer. The guide may come off during a test drive and goes back on when the drive is over. Note that in the booking message.
Under Regulation Z, a credit ad that states the amount of any payment must also state the down payment, the repayment terms, and the annual percentage rate. Give a monthly figure on the page the same treatment, or show the cash price alone.
A test drive needs a name and a time, plus a phone number to confirm it. A trade-in needs the VIN and the mileage, since those two decide who looks at it first. Leave credit questions for the showroom, where a person can explain each one.
Decide before launch who gets test drive bookings, who prices trade-ins, and who covers Saturdays. Agree on how soon a lead hears back. A booking that nobody confirms leaves the shopper free to book a drive at another lot.
Tag every ad link with its source. Each Monday, put bookings next to the shoppers who came in, source by source. A page with plenty of bookings and few visits needs a reminder the day before more than it needs more traffic.
