What Goes Into a Business Landing Page
A business landing page is one page built for one action, such as a quote or a booking. These six parts get each inquiry answered.
Describe the business, get the page
Tell Emergent what you sell and the one thing the page should ask visitors for. It builds the page and the table that stores each answer, then changes any part when you prompt again.
One page, one action
Pick the action the page exists for: a quote, an order estimate, a booking, or an inquiry. The headline and the button both point at that action, with no menu pulling visitors away.
Every inquiry is a row you own
Each submission saves as a row in a database you own, with every answer in its own column. Sort quote requests by due date or filter bookings by week without searching an inbox.
Big inquiries reach the right person
Set a rule on any answer, such as a quantity over 1,000, and the app sends a Slack, email, or in-app alert to the person who handles it. Inquiries under the line wait in the table.
New inquiries sync to your CRM
Connect the page to HubSpot or any other tool with an API, and each new inquiry syncs across as it arrives. Sales picks up the lead in the tool it already opens every morning.
Your domain now, your code later
Publish on the domain your business already uses; custom domains are included and use credits. On paid plans, export the full code to your GitHub repository and keep building.
Business Landing Page Examples by Goal
Each quote request arrives with the quantity and due date
Pellbury Print Works prints packaging for shops. Its quote page asks how many pieces are needed and by what date. Halloway Market asked for 2,500 tote bags by November 20, and its request saved as one of 38 quote requests this week, sorted by due date.
window.awbMockup = { quoteRequest: "Build a quote request page for Pellbury Print Works, my packaging printer for shops. Ask for the business name, the item, the quantity, and the date the order is needed. Save each request as a row, sort the list by due date, and show how many quote requests came in this week.", wholesalePricing: "Make a wholesale page for Wrenhaven Coffee Roasters, my roastery that sells beans to cafes. Ask how many pounds the cafe uses each week, multiply it by our $11.50 price per pound, and show the weekly total before the inquiry is sent. Save the cafe name, the pounds, and the estimate together.", freeConsultation: "Build a booking page for Merrowfield Accounting, my firm, that offers new clients a free 30-minute call. Show only the times that are still open, remove a time once it is booked, email a confirmation to the person who booked, and count the calls booked this week.", cateringInquiry: "Create a catering inquiry page for Quenby Bakehouse, my bakery that caters office lunches. Ask for the company name, the guest count, and an email. Save every inquiry as a row, and when the guest count is 50 or more, send me, Ines Vallort, a Slack message with the company and the count." };
$690 a week, shown before the cafe writes in
Wrenhaven Coffee Roasters sells beans to cafes. Its wholesale page asks how many pounds a cafe goes through each week and multiplies that by the $11.50 wholesale price per pound. Rook Hollow Cafe entered 60 lb, saw $690 a week, and sent its inquiry with the estimate saved beside it.
Only open times are offered for a call
Merrowfield Accounting gives new clients a free 30-minute call. Its page lists the times still open, and a time drops off the list once someone books it. Nadia Prewitt of Cindervale Florist took 10:30 AM on October 28, one of 14 calls booked this week, and her confirmation went to her inbox.
Ines Vallort hears when 50 or more guests are coming
Quenby Bakehouse caters office lunches and asks for the company name and the guest count. An order for 50 guests or more sends owner Ines Vallort a Slack message with the company name and the count. Fairhollow Architects asked for 80 guests, and every inquiry still saves as a row.
How to Create a Business Landing Page
Follow seven steps to create a business landing page that asks for one action and gets every inquiry to the right person.
Choose whether the page exists to collect quote requests or to book calls, and write that action down in one sentence before anything else. Every later choice, from the headline to the form fields, gets checked against that sentence.
Name what the visitor walks away with, such as a printed quote for 2,500 tote bags, rather than the company name or a slogan. Put the supporting detail in one short line under it, and use the same words on the button.
List the answers someone needs before replying, such as a quantity, a date, or a guest count, and cut every other field. A name and an email are enough to reply; leave the phone number out unless the first contact is a call.
Name the business, the action, each field, and what should happen after a submission. Emergent builds the page from that prompt. Read the first draft against your one-sentence action from step 01, and prompt again wherever the page drifts from it.
Decide which inquiries need a person right away, such as an order over a set quantity, and name that person. Add the rule to your prompt and say whether that person should get a Slack message or an email.
Submit one inquiry that should trigger each rule and one that should not. Check that each lands as a row with every answer in the right column, and that each alert reaches the right person with the details needed to reply.
Connect your domain and publish. Through the first week, read each inquiry as it arrives and note the fields people skip or misread. Rewrite those fields with another prompt instead of waiting for a full redesign of the page.
