What Happens Between the Search and the Call
The page earns its keep after the visit. Emergent builds each part below from your prompt and changes it on request.
Audit questions asked one screen at a time
The audit request asks one question per screen, and the next field appears only after the prospect answers the site address. Reorder the questions by writing one more prompt.
Every request kept in a table you own
Each request lands as a row in a database you own, with the budget in its own column. Sort the rows by budget each Monday morning and call the largest accounts first.
A strategist hears about large budgets first
Set a budget line in plain words and the app emails the strategist on every request above it. Slack and in-app alerts work the same way, with a reminder if nobody replies.
Leads sent to the CRM your sales team uses
The app connects to any tool with an API. HubSpot is one example: each new lead is created there as a contact, so the sales team keeps working from the pipeline it knows.
A new city or service added by message
Ask for a page for Tulsa or a link building offer, and Emergent adds the page with its own form, matching the rest of the site. Leads from the new page join the same table.
Your own domain and code to keep
Custom domains are included in Emergent and use credits. On paid plans, export the full code to your GitHub repository and hand it to a developer when the agency needs more.
SEO Agency Landing Page Examples by Offer
A $2,500 monthly budget alerts the strategist
Ridgeloft Search offers local businesses a free audit. The form asks for the site address and the 3 keywords the owner wants to rank for, then the monthly budget. Odell Prask of Garrowby Plumbing entered $2,500, above the agency's $2,000 line. The app emailed strategist Juno Ferrante and saved his request as a row.
window.awbMockup = { freeAudit: "Build a free SEO audit page for my agency, Ridgeloft Search. Ask one question per screen: the site address and the 3 keywords the owner wants to rank for, then the monthly budget. When the budget is $2,000 or more, email our strategist Juno Ferrante with the request. Save every request to a table I own.", localCities: "Make a local SEO page for each of the 12 cities Briarcombe Local serves, starting with Norman. Use the same short request form on every page and tag each lead with the city page it came from. Save every lead to one table I own so I can sort it by city.", retainerPlans: "Build a pricing page for Lantern Ridge SEO with two monthly retainers: Growth at $2,400 and Scale at $4,800. Each Choose button opens a short form that saves the plan with the lead. Show me how many leads picked each plan this month.", ecommerceSeo: "Create an ecommerce SEO page for Thistlecrest Growth that asks each online store how many products it lists. If a store lists over 5,000 products, offer a technical audit call. Create every lead as a contact in our HubSpot account and save a copy to my table." };
One page for each of 12 service cities
Briarcombe Local wins clients city by city, with a page for each of the 12 cities it serves. Every page carries the same short form and tags each lead with its city. Tamsin Rook of Rook Family Dental wrote in from the Norman page, and her lead saved with the Norman tag.
In October, 11 of 18 leads chose Growth at $2,400
Lantern Ridge SEO prints its prices: Growth at $2,400 a month and Scale at $4,800. Each Choose button opens a short form that saves the plan with the lead. In October, 11 of the 18 leads picked Growth, the latest being Lisette Varga, who runs a bakery chain.
Any store with over 5,000 products gets a technical audit call
Thistlecrest Growth only works with online stores, and its page asks each one for its product count. Galloway Trail Supply listed 8,200 products, past the 5,000 line. Rhea Okonkwo was offered a technical audit call, and the app created her lead as a contact in HubSpot through its API.
How to Create an SEO Agency Landing Page
Follow these 7 steps to plan an SEO agency landing page that turns audit requests into sales calls, then build it with Emergent.
Choose one service for the page, such as local SEO for dental practices or technical SEO for large online stores. Write the headline for that buyer and that service, and name the result the buyer pays for, such as more calls from search.
Settle the scope of the free audit before you write the button, such as a crawl of up to 500 pages and a 20-minute call to walk through it. Name those limits on the page next to the request button.
Ask only what you need to qualify a lead and prepare the audit. Keep it to four or five questions. Put the budget question last, and write the budget line that should bring a strategist in.
Google's guide to hiring an SEO suggests asking for examples of previous work and success stories. Answer that on the page with short case studies that name the client's industry and the work you did.
Show the monthly retainer, or a starting price, next to the request button. Spend the sales call on scope instead of cost. If every account is priced by hand, say what the price depends on.
Connect the page to your CRM, or treat the leads table as the pipeline if the agency has no CRM yet. Check that a new lead arrives with its budget and the page it came from before launch.
Fill in the form on a phone as a test business with a budget above the strategist line. Check that the alert email arrives and the row saves with every answer. Then send one below the line and confirm no alert goes out.
